Sunnynook Scouts is a vibrant, welcoming community where young people grow through adventure, teamwork, and hands‑on learning. Our programmes help youth build confidence, resilience, and real‑world skills that stay with them long after school.

Members take part in weekly evening meetings, weekend camps, and a wide range of activities throughout the year.
Who Can Join?
Keas — Years 1–3
Cubs — Years 4–6
Scouts — Years 7–10
Costs
- Term Fee: $150 — includes weekly meetings, national membership, insurance, badges, and programme materials.
- Weekend Camps: Typically $75
- Special Activities: Usually $10–$20 depending on venue
Family discounts are available, and reduced fees apply for children of leaders or committee members.
Leadership & Safety
Our group is proudly 100% volunteer‑run, helping keep costs low and strengthening our community.
- Most leaders are parents of youth members
- All leaders are police‑vetted
- Leaders receive comprehensive training, fully funded by the group

Location
All sections meet at the Sunnynook Scout Hall, located in Sunnynook Park with convenient parking and easy access from Sunnynook Road.
Section Nights
- Keas: Tuesday — 6:00pm to 7:00pm
- Cubs: Thursday — 6:30pm to 8:00pm
- Scouts: Monday — 7:00pm to 9:00pm
