14 of our Scouts braved the winter weather and went camping at Te Haruhi Bay. The camp was organised by one of our Scouts, to help earn her Chief Scout’s Award.
We went hiking and built some pioneering structures.
We also did our Chemistry badge—doing experiments on water purification and chromatography.
The Shakespear Open Sanctuary Society had a tree planting day and we helped plant a lot of native trees and bushes
