Our senior scouts spent a week camp on Rangitoto Island, staying at 1st Devonport Scout Group’s bach.
First they walked to the summit and burnt some marshmallows, and walked through the lava caves. They also walked across to Motutapu Island.
The Scouts had some fun kayaking, and they then braved the cold and went for a mid winter swim.
Before they left, the cleaned the roof, guttering and water filters so the drinking water would be good for the next group
