Makarau in the winter can get very cold overnight – there was frost on the tents in the morning. Nice during the day though and our Scouts got to do some cool activities to tick off some of their Awards Scheme requirements. A highlight was the merry go round which the Scouts all had a hand in building from bamboo and ropes. It was a lot of fun and actually worked!
